Selling out I am going to get a Lambo Countach
« on: March 01, 2007 - 05:32:19 PM »
Well guys, I guess I'm selling out here but i am going to trade my 06 Durango for a 07, keeping my black Rumble Bee and I am going to buy one of the nicest Lambo Countach kit cars I have ever seen. This car ROCKS!
I was going to hold off and buy a new Challanger but I've been looking at this car for six month and today the owner has decided to lower the price where I can afford it. So I am biting.
Here is a pic of the car.
What do you think?

Which kit is that?
I have seen a couple of good ones out there. Some of them need a lot of work. (Like we've never done that before...)

Shame to let a good mopar go....Well, You can just give me the keys and I'll take it off your hands... :naughty:  :lol2:

Keep us posted.

Looks like it's a Fiero kit?  Yes?  No?

The wheel base looks a wee bit short?

What's it running for an engine?

It does look nice.  Any more pics?  It's nice but it has kit car written all over it IMO.  There are other kits out there that look a bit more like the real thing.  Sorry, not to rain on your parade.....  :misbehaving:

If thats what you want, cool, I guess.

Not much of a Lambo fan, let alone a kit car.  Chally sounds better, but hey, its your  :money:

I have spent a lot of time with exotics.  IMO a kit car Lambo is the same as putting your Road Runner body on a VW bug chasis.  It may look great but just isn't right.  Investment wise the kit can be worse than a Challenger clone.  It is my opinion and I mean no hard feelings.  I know the real car and the exotic market.  What drivetrain is in it?  What chasis is under it?

 :iagree:

You asked so: I think you'll regret it and be stuck with it.

Why do you think no one else wanted it and he had to lower the price so much?

Tacky IMO.

If that is what you want then that is all that matters, but the car looks out of proportion to me.

You ask so I'll tell.  If you want, that's all that counts, but why a kit when the real deal can be had for not much more.  Kit looks good, but kinda of riding high.  Can you lower it to get rid of the 4x4 look?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
