Rubber bumpers on non R/T Challengers?
« on: March 04, 2007 - 02:32:27 PM »
The upper part of the bumpers on painted bumper Challengers always seems to be black, could you get rubber bumpers on non R/T Challengers and if so what color would the upper bumper be?

Thanks Barry. Am I reading it right that it is not available on R/T's but still requires the black tail and grille?

That is what it says, but I do not believe it to be accurate in practice.

Probably a stupid question but do you know of anyone making repro rubber bumpers? Anyone with glass bumpers that are realistic? Thanks for any information  :1zhelp:

I haven't seen any repro's, and the original ones are $$$, if you can find them.  :money:

Sixpak Performance sells the reproductions. They are located in the SW somewhere, AZ maybe? They usually sell on Ebay and I have seen them in the swap area at Carlilse as well. I do not have their contact info though.  :dunno:

Thanks guys, I know they are high but at least they are available. I still love the look of the 'Cuda rubber bumpers over the Challengers though. They seem to melt into the body but the Challenger bumpers are the same as the chrome ones but with a rubber coating.
