A call from my Goodmark supplier
« on: March 05, 2007 - 09:22:05 AM »
I just received a call from my Goodmark suppliers, and some of me new parts have come in. I will be picking up my one piece trunk floor and trunk extensions. My new fender is on backorder, but it is expected soon. He did say however that the 70-71 fenders are in stock. There is hope yet for those who need the 70-71s.

The fenders are in stock?  And no one on here has tried yet?  Who's gonna be the gineau pig?

Not me, mine are almost rust free

My 72-74 side is coming in next week I hope. He only had the passenger side in stock. I will let you all know how it fits when I get it.

I have received a new 70 challenger fender last week and hung it on my 70R/TSE last night and it fits very, very well. It looks like a perfectly new original fender. I am very pleased with the quality. It is looslely mounted but all the body lines look perfect so far. :droolingbounce:

Restoring e-bodies is a whole lot easier now than it was 10 years ago. I will never complain about the high price of repro sheet metal. At least we have repro sheet metal. I hate to think of all of the hours I've spent trying to repair those rusty floors and banged up fenders.  :cooldancing:

I remember when I did my 72 challenger 9 years ago and had to hunt for original sheet metal to fix my rust. I received my new sheetmetal from Goodmark last week, new trunk inner fender and rear valance for the cuda and they look great. I will keep everyone updated on the progress in the members restoration section on my 70 cuda. I can't order sheetmetal for the challenger until the cuda is done though, so that will be next winters project.

Do these Goodmark fellas make 72-74 front fenders?  :sly: :dunno: If so, where can I buy one from? Year Ones 1/4 panels are rather good, not sure exactly who supplies YO though but it was quite a surprise.
