Everything in motion for my new Hemi!!!!
« on: March 06, 2007 - 11:28:58 AM »
well I just got off the phone with David Everhart at HP performance Products. www.hpperformanceproducts.com , I put my reserve on an aluminum block to build my 572 hemi. The motor will be as stock appearing as possible, painted orange and with 70 style valve covers. The all aluminum hemi will weight less then my 440!

After talking with David who was a really nice guy, he assured me that we can build this a little at a time to fit my finacial restraints. I'm starting with ording the block and going from there. Its going to be a while before the whole things is finished but, its started.

Sounds like you're headed in the right direction with that Hemi block. :grinyes:  Should be a very cool build-up.  It's always cool to see an engine that looks stock from the outside, but begs to differ when you jump on the gas.  :2thumbs:

Thanks for the  on the paint . The Hemi's a tight fit, maybe a bit tighter with the Stage V heads. It'll go in though. Good luck with the project. Hope mine is out and about soon or I'll be aborting this project  :sadwavey:
