    Well I finally figured out the problem!!!  :horse:  :horse: I just got in me new fuel sending unit... and after several ohm tests it was pointing to the sending unit...however after I removed the current sending unit I discovered that the float was bent enough that the float wouldnt pass by the pick up tube... thats why the gas guage was rising to E and not going past there!  So I bent it clear and wired everything back up and the guage went to almost 1/4 tank which is good because I put 5 gallons of gas in the car....so tomorrow I will put another 5 gallons in and it should go up to about half.....how many gallons is a challenger gas tank ??? 20

    looked up the specs on mine and it is 18 gallons...

    Spec should be 18.


    I remember mentioning to someone to check the float.  :bigsmile:

    See, its usually the simple things...I have the same kind of luck but  I haven't found the simple thing yet with my problem.

    well I added another 5 gallons to the car and the needle went up past 1/2 tank a little so I guess is all good now!!!!  :burnout:
    I was almost checking into a clinic over this ...  :pullinghair:
