My New Daily Driver....
« on: March 09, 2007 - 12:32:10 AM »
I dont think I ever posted this. But I sold my truck and and am in the process of selling the Challenger also :crying: But I am really sad to let it go. Anyways I was in need of a new car to get around town and ended up picking up a 2000 328Ci 5speed BMW for 2k under dealer asking price. It is a fun car to drive but I dont think it compares to the raw power of Mopar Muscle Cars. Ill attach a few pictures.

I knew you were working hard on the chall to get it going
too bad you have to let it go
The need for reliable basic transportation often comes first though
I hope you stay around & can get another muscle car soon  :2thumbs:

Nice, don't sell your Challenger though mate. If you think it's tough now, give it 10 years and it will be impossible.
You'll look back and kick yourself (possibly to death) at selling yours. Think long and hard before the decision is made.

Manual, very nice. Rare in American being a manual. Probably a 1 of 10 in the US.  :smilielol:
As long as you're happy it's all good mate.

Nice car, sorry to see the muscle have to go. I ended up buying a ranger, $218 bucks a month...which actually with my new commute to school, it pays for itself in the gas mileage difference every month vs the cuda.  :eek4:

Good luck

Man, that sucks, selling the Challenger.  How much do you want for it or do you have it sold already?

Have fun with the BMW, it looks like a great car. I would hold on to the Chally if you can. Like NZ said it's going to get tough as time passes to find another at least for a decent price. :2cents:

I have not sold the Challenger yet. The guy that was going to buy it has had trouble coming up with the last $2k to make $14k for the car. But for anyone on here I will let it go for less than that but not to much because I have some debts to pay off :pullinghair:

The new car looks very nice.  Hopefully you can get what you need from the Challenger's sale. :2thumbs: (though $14K for a '72 340 Challenger needing work is a very nice sum of money, IMO.  I'm sitting at close to $10K the way mine sits right now. :eek4:)

Nice!!!
Always wanter a B-mer. Good luck with it. I just got a Subaru Impreza myself. Had to throw in the towel on a 94 Jeep Cherokee. At $2.75 a gallon around here the car payment and the gas for the Subaru is about the same as the amount of gas the Jeep could use. I just got tranferred out of the city and into the suburbs at my job so driving is now my main mode of transportation rather than subways. Gas is a major issue and I couldn't imagine trying to get around with a truck that gets about 15mpg at best.

Congratulations on the BMW.  I sold my '04 325 sport, premium, 5 speed last year and miss it.  BMW makes one of the best engines out there if you like smooth torquey engines.

I like BMW's Motors and transmissions.  I drove a 325 with a 6-spd, really throws you back in your seat when you hammer it and pop the clutch
