I have some tips. Always turn the front wheels so that the camera sees the front wheel instead of the tire tread.
Use the flash, even on bright days for "fill in" light. See the shadow line across the front plate? The flash can help. It also softens the harsh shadows in the grille and under the car.
Always use the available light to your advantage, park the car so that the light is at your back when taking the photo.
Practice, practice, practice as well, play with different lighting, close ups and see what works for you.
