    One more diorama!

      Here is my latest (and last) for a while. I think spring has come to Idaho and its time to go play with the real thing now. I built this one to give to a co-worker as a gift for his new home. He has a beautiful 65 GTO-389 tri power-4sp and a 74 roadrunner. His kid built him a couple of models of his cars so I built this for him to display them on. He takes his cars to the local car shows which I made with mine a few times last year. And he also usually has a cooler of cold beer and might be more easily persuaded to open it up and share. But the main reason is he is also going to build a new shop this fall and his boys paint cars as a side line.  A little early bribery cant hurt.   Doug

    I think you got the third one wrong....???

    It's surposed to be the MoPar inhouse, and the qevy out in the open.. :stirpot:

    Man, you do killer impressive work!!!  I just have a stupid sounding question, what kind of materials do you use to make the buildings, fences... and do you use real leaves and stuff laying on the ground?

     Again thanks all. I try and make most of this stuff. The wood is just 1x2 furring stripes and old  weathered lattice stripes that I had on my deck. The fence is made of popsicle sticks soaked in a mixture of rubbing alc. with india ink mixed in. The tree is a piece of dead sagebrush. Woodland scenics have most of the stuff for bushes and weeds (groundcover stuff) mainly used in railroad model scenes. When ever I can I try and use real material as it is so much more natural looking. Most of this is still just experimenting with different things. I think my next try will be with plaster and try to make an old shut down 60's style cinder block gas station with the bell that would alert the attendant when a car pulled into the gas pumps. DING   DING    Now I think I am showing my age!!!! This is before the era of all self serve.
