Looks to me like the whole world is involed in this war.

Somebody should tell the Democrats.

Boy, this makes me want to have a happy day.....  :grinno:

Is this map for real?  Why is Brazil spelled Brasil?  I know they spell it like that in other languages but was this site made by Americans?

Yeah, we gotta get the whole world onside.  All those suspicious packages, unconfirmed reports, anonymous threats and arrested suspects are causing me to lose a lot of sleep.  Particular attention has to be paid to the rebels in those pesky African and Asian nations. I wish the Democrats would wake up and get things moving.  We have a world war on terrorism to fight! Somebody said we have lost the war in Iraq!  Hah, just watch!

Be careful with the politics there, guys.  I have not looked through each item listed on that website, so I cannot comment on the validity of them all.  But one could just as easily criticize this administration and congress (which was controlled by Republicans until January 2007).  They chose to focus on Iraq ('liberation', 'soldiers greeted with flowers', 'regime change'...whatever), rather than those who attacked the US in 2001.  The Democrats are saying we should change our scope to fighting the sources of terrorism, and those who attacked the United States -  You would look at that website and disagree?

I doubt that the website was posted to ignite a political discussion.  I would rather we discuss our cool cars here.

The problem is that the security of our nations has been turned into a means of getting elected and not focused on the war we need to wage.

I think that I'm in trouble - My girlfriend reported finding a dead bird in my pants last night. The Asian Bird Flu may have hit.

It is a neat site, Lunch, but if you scroll down it shows just how "non-terrorism" these things really are.  No wonder they don't show up in the media.

Really, it is just a site that caters to our sick obsession with this "War on Terror" and the perverse thrill we all get from the terror alert levels bouncing up and down.  People love to be scared, and boy oh boy, are we ever scared right now.  Keeping a population in a constant state of fear allows politicians to deprive us of all sorts of rights that the Bill of Rights and the Constitution guarantee us.  We are being totally taken in by Bush and his cronies.

Benjamin Franklin said "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."  What are we willing to give up?

Sorry for this little rant, but I hate to see our soldiers dying for nothing.  Viet Nam all over again.
