I think society today has lost at least two important things
1) Respect for their elders
2) Common sense

A good fist fight never hurt anyone...just feelings. :stirpot:

At least my generation and upbringing taught me where to draw the line to stupidity. At least most of the time. :misbehaving:

I remember things like:
"If I have to stop this car..."
"your a$$ is grass and I'm the lawn mower"
"you better give your soul to Jesus, cause your a$$ is mine"
"son, The day you can knock me down is the day you find a new home"
Too many to list, but I had respect.

Amen to that brother!  :grinyes:

Laws have taken the place of common sense.  People don't want to be responsible for themselves or for others so that's why some laws are made.

Nice,

It's so easy for the media to blow things out of proportion - hint-hint.
