« on: March 13, 2007 - 10:00:00 AM »
Anyone try a set of '72-'74 headlight bezels from PG Classic?  Good quality and fit?

I have a set, they are not perfect but they look pretty good. Unfornatually you can't find them anywhere else. My only problem is that Peter Gee the owner sent me two sets for the same side of the car and then sent out the correct set and asked me to return the incorrect ones which I did. I sent several e-mails and never heard from him again nor did I get my shipping cost for their mistake so I have refrained from buying anything else from them if I can find it elsewhere. A couple of years ago Laysons was going to make them if they could get enough orders.  I haven't check since to see if they tooled up.  My first (and last) dealings with PG were not good.

My last dealings with Laysons were not good...ordered eyebrow moldings for my RR and it took a year to get them and they showed up with grinding marks under the chrome.  :nono:

I've had trouble with Layson's too. They look to have nice stuff, but it took forever to get here.  :pullinghair: Us Mopar folks have it tough in choosing decent company's to order from. Layson's is always at Carlisle, so I would suggest buying directly from them there. No super long waiting period then.

I've ordered from PG twice and didn't have a problem either time.  They've been great so far.  So have Mega-Parts, for that matter.

BE&A is a partner with PG Classics. So is T&S in South Carolina and both are in the US so shipping is cheaper/faster if you live here. There's another thread on them around here somewhere.

Tony's Parts also makes these bezels (I don't believe they are PG parts either but I can't verify that).

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
