SB chrome or powdercoated waterpump?

Has anyone ever powdercoated a small block waterpump or know where to by a chrome one? Thanks

you could probably get a polished WP somewhere, but I am not sure where
 no reason why it could not be powder coated

after having chrome & polished, i like the chrome better, although i believe chrome with gaskets tend to leak a little ???

I would think the seals on the pump would get to hot when they go in the oven when they get powdercoated.

Where did you get the chome w/p at. Every where I look they have chevy, ford but never a sb mopar.

Maybe you could take a stock one to a metalcoater and have it chromed?    :dunno:   Couldn't cost all that much to get it done...    :bigshades:    :cooldancing:

The only problem with that is tearing the water pump down so they can coat it. I just can't beleive that no company carries small block mopar water pumps in chrome . They have every other car companies except Mopars. :villagers:

  I never used them but they stock the water pump and do chroming as well.

I've already talked with them and they carry the water pump, but it is not chromed.
