    I personally prefer the stockier/meatier stance with more rubber in the back.

    The tires are 235/60R15 (front) 275/60R15 (rear), rims 15x7 w/ 3.75 bs (front) 15x8 w/ 4.50 bs (rear). No modifications to the suspension at all. Although, it did have air shocks on the back already. The front is sitting about an inch too high for my taste, so I will have to lower it a hair.

    About like so...

    19s in the front 20s in the back. Not my car of course. I used to like 17s and 18s, but the larger wheels have grown on me. I'd probably do the centers black chrome on a black or dark colored car too.

    Skinnys in the front and fat as you can fit in the back...big inch low pro's are for ricers in my opinion.  :stirpot:

    Challenger = Front: 245/60/15x7" 4.5" BS. Rear: 275/60/15x8" 4.5" BS. A nice "even" chunky look.
    'Cuda = Front: 235/60/15x7" 4.5" BS. Rear: 275/60/15x10" 4" BS. More of a slight rake.

    I really like the original rally look, but I do want something a bit more modern.  I also like the original racing look much like the Sam Posey 77 car (http://www.trans-amseries.com/Drivers/KenEpsmanChallenger.htm).  Here are a couple of my choices.  I am going to keep my 15x7 rally's though.

    I need wheels that perform.  A super heavy "billet" wheel that is 19 inches tall and 12 inches wide weighs 45 pounds on a good day. Same with widened stock steel wheels. Good for a restoration but bad at the track.

    The oldschool folks know this and choose the lightest wheels possible.  When was the last time you saw a ProStock car with Boyds or Chip Foose wheels.

    If you want to go fast go with some Welds or Cragers and leave the wagon wheels to the ricers

    I like Centerlines but anything light should be the first thing to look at

    Low profile rims aren't required (and might even be a bad thing) for straight line racing. Low profile rims are for cornering and road feel because they have much less sidewall flexing. That's why so many pro touring/g-machine cars have them and almost none of the drag cars do.

    I've seen ricer civics at the 1/4 with big chubby tires on their front wheel drive cars with their street low profile rims on the back.

    Different wheels for different things I guess.

    Very will put. I have never and will never take mine to the track nor race it to any extent on the street. Therefore, my selection of rims/tires was based strictly on cruisin and looks.

    I have  225/70/15 front on 7" wheel , tires 86" round , on Magnum 500's
              275/60/15  rear  on 8" wheel , tires 89" round , on Magnum 500's
              on the '73 Cuda...

    I'd have to say some Torque Thrust 17"s (pretty much any classic 5-spoke) at each corner wrapped with some Z-rated Yokohama sticky tires. :drool:
