How to build a Cuda Wagon?????

After seeing the Challenger wagon on this site that was made by grafting an Olds Vista Cruiser roof onto a Challenger, I'm inspired.  I know there was another one made by grafting on the rear end of a Monaco Wagon.  So, what is the easiest way to build a 1971 Cuda wagon?  What wagon would require the least amount of modification to fit up to a Cuda front clip?

Look into a 1971 Satellite wagon, the E and B Bodies that year share the same structure forward of the firewall, so it should be fairly easy to mock up the fenders and hood and see what needs to be done from there. It also opens up the possibility of a pop up air grabber hood.

Actually, I'm planning on starting with one of the 11 '71 Hemicuda convertibles.  The orange one with orange interior and white billboard ought to to the trick.  I'm gonna hack it up and then graft on the back end of a Vega Wagon.  It's gonna be sweet!  Then I'll throw a General Lee cattle prod on the front.  Maybe some curb feelers.  Those rims that have the spinning inserts would really top off the whole look.

Of course i'm not going to ruin a good 71.  The Satellite idea is great because if Barry is correct, I just need a front clip off a car beyond repair, or piece it together with parts off Ebay.  I'd probably use repro parts (gills, grille, valence insert) anyway.

You might be able to get some fiberglass parts to work.

Would be easier to graft the cuda front end onto the 71 Satellite wagon since they use the same inner fenders and firewall. They also use the same core support. You would have to alter the front doors of the wagon to match up with the cuda fenders. I say go all out and buy a shaker setup for it and put the gills in the fenders. You can now buy all of the pieces to make the 71 cuda front end.  You can even use the cuda dash, front seats, console, shifter, etc. Trust me, the only somewhat difficult part would be altering the doors and any decent body shop can do that.

The Satellite wagon should work and would be different. But I think the 2 dr looks cooler. heres how mine was done. Heres my car done. then here is my car and a olds wagon like the roof came off of. and last pic is where you cut the olds roof and graft it onto the back of your Challenger Cuda fits like a glove. [Challenger anyway cuda has sharper quarter windows?] I used a rear section out of a AMC gremblem for the hatch

Sounds good but skip the spinners.  The inserts have been known to fall off when the vehicle is moving and has impailed more than a few pedestrians.  Just my

If the E and B Bodies share the same structure from the firewall forward, does that mean I could also start with a Coronet wagon?  That would give me more possible donors.

I still think that the wagon is one of the coolest things that I have seen in a long time. Do you have more pictures such as engine, interior, etc.
