 :dunno: way off topic  :poopoke: anyone know the spark plug gap on a 94 buick lesabre 3800 engine?plug#41-601....

If nobody else knows, you probably can't go wrong with .035

believe me,,, Im NO mechanic.. but I thought  .080 was it due to hotter firing coilpacks. ?? :dunno:

 :clueless: I was thinking around .035-.045 myself,gapped ever plug out of the box and their all at .060 so.....hmmmm! have to see if my stickers still on the upper tie bar for the gap.  :faint:

What were the old plugs gapped at?  :pullinghair: RODNEY,  :lol: if i measure that i would gap them at around .0100-.0120 they are so fried i don't even know how the car even runs as well as it doe's.  :banghead: i checked the sticker on the tie bar at lunch and it says .060, i guess thats why they were all almost there right out of the box.  :lol: bought this for my dailey driver a couple months ago and starting to look things over now that its not below zero here in st paul anymore.  :roflsmiley: did a complete intake gasket change over the weekend also.what a pain in the butt.  :swear:

at least 3 sources I GOOGLED gave 0.060
All the replacement plugs I saw come with this gap

 :thumbsup: thanks bullit,thats what their going in at..060 it is,install after work today.back ones may be a pain but they have to get changed,never saw plugs so fried as these.  :banghead: previous owner neglect neglect.should run like a top after this.  :2thumbs:

It sounds like you might have the original plugs in the engine. I wonder what they would be worth on E-Bay?  :screwy:
