Looks like you could have a lot of fun with that RR, PG!  The interior seems like it's in pretty good shape.  With the quarters in that kind of shape, you shouldn't have a second thought about having all that rubber flying off and hitting them as you're doing burnouts!!  Have fun!!

318, Fried quarters, and a 4 (or is it a 3) speed.... perfect recipe for burnouts!!!!!!! ;D ;D Ya might wanna go reference one of the latest Mopar Muscles... they talk about getting 357 HP outta a 318... ::)

1973challenger360,

Here's the fender tag:

R21 END

G36 L31 M85 N41 N42 N85

GB5 U   22  B41 C21 C56

GB5 DGB5 GB5 607 324688

E44 D13 RM21 63R 326064

I think the C21 is what you'll like, Center seat foldown armrest.   :o

Rev,

Yep, I'll be peeling the rubber off the tires a paycheck at a time  ;D  Actually the 318 has plenty of oomph!  Must have been rebuilt at some time.  I just finished re-painting all the plastic except the dash ( beyond salvage ) and it cleaned up nice.  I'll be looking at a nearly new car and everyone else will see a rust bucket.  :P

PG, awesome buy!!!!  Good luck with the fix-up process.  ;D  LB, that'd be awesome to pull 357hp. outta a 318...I've been thinking about that recipe just in case I can't find a decent enough 340 in time.

Don't rush 73, They also got 602hp out of a 340 :o ;D It wasn't hard on the pockets and was pretty simple  ;) Still, I wouldn't complain about a 357hp 318 either  ;D ;D

LB,

Didn't want to count the /6 out as the lowest powered "stock" Roadrunner ( even though it really came in a Volare )  You beef up the L.T.O.P.  and I'll beef up the 318.  Should be fun to cruise around in   ;D

73, NZ  I read & re-read the article, sounds like the way to go.  I'm leaving the 318 in it, ( re-worked ),  the wife has a whole "Wile E. Cyote" scheme worked out.  She figures that a 318 3-spd. couldn't catch a "real" roadrunner either.  Got a few of the decals worked out already.  Not trying to dis the other RR's, I just have a warped sense of humor  ;)

Later all,

WSM,

Yep, this one stays roadworthy.  A little paint, a little bailing wire, that's all it gets. :D  Carlisle here we come.

Onefornow,

Maybe I should change my handle to Twofornow ?  Hehe!  If you make it back to Carlisle or the Nat's, we'll all go for a spin. ;D

Carlisle, eh? Sounds like a great reason for one of next years road trips.  Just might have the '73 roadworthy by then.   ::) ::) 8)

LB,

Puny ???  I prefer tiny !! I wouldn't want to race for slips, which of us would really want to lose their cars?  Money, don't really have any, Gentlemens race, I hardly qualify  ;D.  But..... if we both make Carlisle next year, how about loser pays the winner's fee ?

Onefornow,

If your 73's ready, it'd be a long roadtrip, but a heck of a fun one !  I can see a caravan building.  Hope it happens.

We'll have to form a southen contingency for next year's trip and all meet up there.  Hey maybe we should all start a fund for Chryco to come down and join us.  Maybe if our t-shirts ever get done, we could add a couple bucks on to the price of each one for a good cause.  Just a thought   ::)

Hey PG that 318 RR sounds like tons of fun. ;D
Keep the shiniest side up!

I know I'm ready for a road trip, as I sit here at 11:00PM reading my law books, with the rain swirling around and the wind blowing outside........

Didn't I read that there is a Mopar Meet in Arizona at the end of the month??
