Paint is done, almost ready for the sixpack!
« on: March 17, 2007 - 07:54:53 PM »
Here is a pic of my latest project.  This is my first attempt at wood working.  I should have started with something easy like a bird house.  Before you post any negative comments please remember that I am an electrician and not a carpenter!

That does look great. Glad that I don't have those skills my girlfriend would have me doing all kinds of stuff around here.

You did it right, paint then sixpack. If you do sixpack first, sometimes the paint doesn't turn out too good

Looks great! My father was/is a very talented carpenter and does everything from nice detailed furniture to a one man house builder.I think my car affliction at an early age changed my biulding gene from wood to metal-I can barely hammer a nail straight but give me a hunk of steel and I can make anything with it.

That looks darn good - sure there's not a carpenter in the family tree somewhere? Are you gonna put that clear bar-topper epoxy on top? That'd look really neat. Just my  :2cents:
