Hedman "shorty" headers
« on: March 18, 2007 - 05:42:54 PM »
Has anyone tried using the Hedman "Shorty" headers?  It looks like they can be used with stock exhaust pipes, so they should fit up under the car better.

The picture below would be for my car (440 Challenger)

It depends on what your plan is. Yes, I have seen something similar from Shumacher(sp), but it is not like having real headers. It is a compromise between the stock manifolds and the real thing.

Much better than the stock manifolds, but not as good as a "tuned" full length header.  If you have a mild build up, then they should work great.  If you have more than .500" lift cam, then get the full lenght ones.
