I want to put 245s back on the front but this time with a 5" backspace wheel.

This wont work if you use a 15" rim. It contacts the upper ball joint. I had to space my 5" backspace rims out a 1/4 of an inch to get them out enough to not contact the ball joint.

Now 245 aren't a problem. Heck, 255 would fit easily too. Playing with back space and a rolled fender lip, I may even try for a 275 up front.

On second thought,  I'm running the later knuckles '73-'74. I wonder if that's why it seems to fit ok on mine.

I'm gonna check this out again this week sometime and get back to ya

Those stripes look good on a white car  :2thumbs:  , are they the '72 stripes?

If you are referencing to the pics on this page that NZ posted, they are the '73-'74 side stripe.

The '72 side stripe is thinner at the rear and follows the contour of the rear fender, such as on Goody's car.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I used to have a white 73 a long time ago. I had all of the chrome painted flat black, and it looked really tough. Don't have any pictures of it, though.

Here's one I had on my hard drive... not sure who's car this is, but I'm pretty sure I downloaded this picture from here.  It's a sweet looking Cuda.
