And here is the recovery tank I put in today, O'Reillys $10.99 special.  Fit pretty good!

Well, not much going on here.  I did drop off the seat at the upholsterer today, should be done in a couple weeks he said.  I also sent a check to a guy in Washington, he has a set of "perfect" doors.  They should get here in a couple weeks, too.  Thats about it, haha.  Hopefully in a couple of weeks when we're done working outside I can get working on it again.   ::)

Thanks, and no, not much new.  Hope to have the seat back after thanksgiving, along with the doors.  I did get some box "ends" - where the taillights are for the box.  Mine were gone at the bottom.  I got some up from texas, one is rust free structurally, the other has a bit of rot that wont be bad to fix.  The box is what is going to take the longest I'm afraid, but hopefully I can get it pretty much done by spring.

I'm told with the new Diablo tuner, you can use the stock harness and then reprogram the computer for any tune you want.   

Also I see your running the stock manifolds, did you look into headers or Grand Cherokee manifolds?   A couple of us guys doing this swap are thinking that the Cherokees will fit in my Ebody and their Abodies.
Any thoughts on that?

I have a good friend here in Austin with a 69 Sweptline with a /6 that he converted to "Sweet Lady Propane"  It runs pretty good that way he says.

Chris, I'm using the Squier Auto harness, from Tony Squier.  He makes them for Street and Performance.  He flashed a manual computer for me, also.  Total cost for harness, computer, and 2 O2 simulators for the back was $1600.   :faint:  And that was WITH my $250 credit for the original auto tranny computer.  My setup is a 2004 setup if that makes any difference to you.

I have also heard that diablo is the way to go for a tuner, but I really dont have a need for that right now, I just want to get it on the road, first things first.   :bigsmile:

Ouch!  that is pricey.   I hope the Diablos are the real thing.  They are only about $400, and you can tune all you want, but only on one car, they are VIN sensitive.

What are the O2 simulators???  His name is Joe, great guy, quite a character.

O2 simulators enable me NOT to use a catalytic converter.  They trick the computer into thinking that the Oxygen level after the cat is "ok"  Since my truck is so old, I dont need them, emissions exempt.  There are four O2 sensors on the Hemi trucks, two before the cat(s), and two after.  Only the two after can be tricked, but I have the two fronts installed. 

Yeah, it was pricey, but it was all basically plug and play.  Really easy.  Right now though I am having one flaw.  It wont charge.  The computer is good (I sent it back to Squier, he said it charged fine on a test truck), the alternator is good, and the continuity on the wires is good.  I'm really stumped, and havent had any time lately to dig into it further, I've already wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out.  A guy I know from the dealership said he would come out and do some scan for me, but I havent heard from him since, I need to call him again.  Otherwise, it runs pretty good.  One thing I dont like is that when you quickly step on the throttle and let off, it hangs at that RPM for a second, and then comes down.  I think its the nature of the drive by wire, but I really dont like it.   :grinno:
