I've been waiting for this for a long time.  Got the clutch parts and flywheel, (pressure plate is just sitting there) on and got the tranny on there.  Sigh of relief here.  Now, off to make some mounts, hopefully by this weekend I can get around to that.

Thanks guys.  It is going to be that blue/turquoise color with a white top.  It will also have the 3" side trim in white.  I want it as stock looking as possible, except for the wheels.  And the scoop, lol.

Wally-  Visit www.sweptline.org JS23U0B and I are members there, its a great site.  Lots of info, and trucks for sale all the time.  The nice thing about these swepts, is that you can get really good deals most of the time.  There a good kept secret, but sssshhhh, dont tell anyone.

That truck is looking good.  I know it will be fun to drive.  My father always tells me about the time he put a commando 383 4-speed in a 50's dodge truck.  He said it would smoke the tires for over 100 ft.

Have fun  :burnout:

Got it all settled in today.  I think I might beef up the mounts a bit, but otherwise just some welding here and there.

On the down side, the rust converter stuff I used back in march has rusted through.  I was pissed.  It started about a month or two ago, with little tiny spots.  The company I bought it from is refunding my money, so that is one good thing anyways.  I made sure to take pictures when I put the stuff on, good thing I did.  Now I need to pull the cab and motor again.  Not so big of a deal, but the point is that I have to do it again.  Oh well.

That sucks about the rust inhibitor/converter didn't work for you.  On the upside the progress looks great!
