    I am picking up speed, though.  I just got the tank in and painted, and I installed the pump/filter.  Now I just need to run lines and I'm done with the fuel.   :2thumbs:  Oh and waiting for backordered fittings, so it will be a week I suppose at least.   ::)

    I still have to get the starter thing straightened out.  It cant be that friggin hard.  I tried the stock 5.7 starter, no go.  I tried the one-size-fits all Mopar mini starter, that doesnt work, either.  I know that the tranny is from an 02 Ram with the 4.7.  I looked on car-part and pretty much all trucks like that are automatic.  Its like trying to pull teeth.   :pullinghair:   :walkaway:

    The project looks like it's going great. Hope to at least see you at the show. I understand how these projects go. It doesn't pay to rush anything 'cause thats when it goes to poop.

    Sorry I was slow shipping your care package.
     It should be there by Wednesday ups, I put a tubing cutter in the box also just in case you need it.

    Hey, dont worry about it.  I've found other things to do.  I just really appreciate what you're doing. 

    We have a cutter, so thanks.  We have a flare tool too, but a 45*.   ::)

    Today I made my own harness out of about 7 wires to go from the bulkheads to the rear. 

    Taillights
    Reverse lights
    Fuel pump
    Sending unit

    I strung it through the frame, and will secure it when I do the fuel line.  2 retainers on each bolt, one for wires, and one for fuel line.  Not too exciting to look at, so no pics.   :poopoke: :lol:

    Yep, got it Scott, thanks a bunch.

    Unfortunately, I think its identical to the one we have, the 45* one.  The AN fittings requre a 37 degree flare.  I'll double check later, but I think I may ending up buying one.   :-\

    Well DB, I think it may work anyways.  Here are a few pictures I took.  All I did was not tighten it all the way.  It seems to fit perfect on the sleeve, and the male fitting.  What do you guys think, will it work?   :dunno:

    And a picture of my boring wires.   :lol:

    Something else in the works today, I have my Challenger carb soaking right now, I have the rebuild kit.  Should have that on within the next week or so, the original 2 bbl is going back on.   :2thumbs:

    That fitting and sleeve will work without a problem, looking tidy under the hood buddy.
    Someone told me DB had posted something up here for me to see, :dunno: can anyone tell me what it was.........
