Thanks guys.  Didnt get the brackets painted yesterday, it was way too humid, the paint wouldnt have stuck.  Extremely humid today also, I might not get to do it today, too.

Not yet, working on it.  Well, kinda, lol.  Bullitt helped me find ones from NAPA, and I found some from O'reillys for cheaper yet.

I'll probably start on that after I get the radiator mounted.   :2thumbs:

Haha, I was waiting for someone to say something.  As soon as I get the brake lines done I'll shove it out and hose it down.  I got the radiator all mounted ready to go.  Also got one whole brake line done, from the proportioning block to the front left hose.   ::)  Hopefully I get a couple more done today.   :swaying:

Got the MC lines done today.  Look ok up top, far from perfect below.  Oh well, they'll work.  I hope.     I'll have to make some clips or something to hold the lines together/apart.

Painted the radiator, I absolutely love it.  Got the pulley situation straightened out, now all I need to do is order a belt.   :swaying:

:wow:  Looking good.  I really like the way the radiator looks painted.  It is hard to tell that it is aluminum.   :2thumbs:

Saw a few Sweptline parts @ Carlisle, but the complete trucks were to rich for my blood  :money: hope to see you next year.

Which MC?  The drivers side is clutch, passenger is brake?

Did you see a tan '67 shortbed there?  A guy on sweptline.org was going to bring one up from maryland.  It was a texas truck he was parting out.

I hope to maybe swing it next year, we'll see.  I'd love to drive the big bad truck out there.   :dunno: :burnout:

Oh. silly me, Im not hip to the whole clutch MC thingy.....

And, beware of the single reservoir brake MC..... you have all new stuff so you should be ok, but let me tell you of a certain somebody who came down off the highway in his '65 New Yorker doing 60 and had to bounce through a redlight, go up an incline (opening door, and dragging feet) got it down to first (while unintentionally pimping the ghetto) got on the highway again, got back to the garage and ran up and over the sidewalk trying to stop.......  :misbehaving:

needless to say, after pricing a $200 brake drum, I (did I say me?) through a plug in the brake block and drove it with 3 brakes the rest of the time....  :working:

lol, ouch Wally.  Everyone that has that single brake MC should change, they're junk.

I got the correct serpentine belt today, ran water in the engine, burped the air out, ran just a tad over 180* without a fan.  That was after a few minutes, should cool real easy with just one fan.  Really happy to see another guage work, temp guage worked fine.  Now I need to hook up the alternator junk, and get a battery.  Progress is slow, but its fun to start it up for more than 30 seconds now.   :poopoke: :roflsmiley:
