I see great idea I like it will you put shrink tubing on all those connectors. :poopoke:

LOL, yeah.   ::)

I just finished taping it all up, but now the wires have to come out and immediately take a 90* turn.  Well, when its pretty much 0* outside, wires dont like to bend so much.  I'll have to do it later this week when it warms up.  Or apply a little heat.   :misbehaving:

Its been very cold till today.  It got up to 44.  Oh, did that feel good.  But it was only the fourth time on record that MPLS/STPL hasnt had a January thaw.  A "thaw" is considered to be 24 hours above freezing, and we only had about 18 hours.  We had to dig some stuff out of the shed, so I pulled it out of the shed.  The wheelwells had dried mud in them from last fall, so I washed them out today.  I also put in closed cell foam where the fender meets the cab along the side, I glued it in.  When I get it in the shop, I want to spray undercoating in the wheelwells to finish them off.  The cab has it already, I just want to get the rest.

Good news, doors come next week.  They were shipped on last tuesday.  I called the upholsterer last week, said he'd have it done this week, but he didnt give me a call.  I'll have to call again next week.

Thanks Dave, yeah, let me know whenever you get out this way, stop in.

Here you go.  I didnt think that sweptline parts came without rust, but I guess its possible.  The close up if of the bottom edge.  Never seen one so clean!  I still need to sand, prime, and paint, but no repair needed.   :woo:

Seat looks great.  You can tell in the pic that I still need to paint the black frames.  I know I should have done it before hand, but I ran out of time.

Played with my new toy tonight.

http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=23460&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCat=1339&iSubCat=1354&iProductID=23460

I cant believe how nice these things spray.  Basically no overspray.  I almost didnt need to wear a mask.  I've been in the dark for a long time with that close to 30 year old gun...   :misbehaving:

I've been working on the doors the last couple days.  Taking them apart, putting the '67 guts in them, so they work with my door panels.  Sanding, more sanding, more sanding.  Finally got done priming the first coat about 45 minutes ago.  I'll shoot another coat tomorrow morning, then color!   :drool:

New door seals/weatherstripping should be here friday I hope...

No pics, parents have the camera on their mini-vacation...    :-\

Got the doors pretty much done.  I had to glue on seals, etc.  I just need to paint the other white panel for ds.

Windshield came last night, got around to doing it this morning.  My fingers are sore!   :swear:

I need to get some ss screws for the mirrors, but that's how it'll look.  And the decal that I put on.  I'll get the wiper transmission arms on later today.  Just bed and hood...

I still need to get started on the side trim, but that I'm really not worried about right now.
