Galen Govier SUX!

I sent in a payment for a decode on my superbee over 3 months ago,I know it takes a while and i have left 4 messages over the past month via phone to check status.Not ONCE did anyone return my phone calls.I dont really mind if it takes a while but the NO return phone calls to check status is unforgiveable and unethical to not let customers inquire about their orders-NEVER AGAIN!!!

Thanks for being another person to confirm his poor service. I've heard this about Mr "$$$" I mean Mr Govier so many times, it's not funny. Not to put you out but I have heard of people waiting years with no response, I kid you not.

I hope you have a lot of time. I waited 3 1/2 years and when I got my window sticker it was full of mistakes. I tried to get ahold of this looser and just got the blow off from Diane. I gave up and went to the guy in Michigan and had it in a week and it was correct this time. If you gave him a credit card number just cancel it and find someone else. The only way I finally gor mine from him was when I jumped him in Carlisle in 05. It still took 6 months and it's junk, worthless crap. I took it as a learning event and wrote it off. I do plan on giving the crap he sent to me back in Carlisle this July. The guy is a looser as far as I'm conserned. This is one subject that doese get my blood boiling.

I've heard nothing but bad about the man, how in the world does someone like this carry so much credibility in the industry. I mean if it isn't done by Galen, then most people will write it off as invalid or at least not up to standard. Maybe there is some way of publishing his shortcomings, from mistaken decode to the times that he has just shrugged off his responsibilities to provide a service in a timely fashion. It sounds like a lot of us have met him and from the way he carries himself to the little notes in all of his pockets, I don't see how anybody could give him any credibility.

I dont understand since i do sales for a living,how someone can have ANY clients and not returning calls.If i didnt return each and every phone call i get promptly,my customers would go to my competitors.And it not just about making money from those clients,its about doing the right thing and taking care of people.Its one of my pet peaves,if i have a friend that doesnt return phone calls in a timely fashion,we are no londer friends.Its hard to find ANYONE with any ethics in this world anymore.I do pratice what i preach.If he is too busy to handle the business,either **** or get off the pot,hire more people or go out of business and quit waisting people's time so they can go somewhere esle to get what they need.I left a message again today to return my phone call or i would go file a mail fraud report and he can deal with postal inspectors.My body and paint guy is the same way,I am going to pick up my hood and trunk lid from him friday and then I am parting company with the arsehole even though i will lose 500 bucks in prepayment funds i gave him.Then i will have someone else do my GC roller.I dont have time for deadbeats.

The only good things he has done are his reference books - about 10-15 yrs ago a few people that we know had a friend(who worked for chrysler) of ours look at their cars to see if they were legit or #s matching. Our friend Henry told them that they looked pretty legit and or they were # matching-these people wanted the the govier seal of approval and paid very good money to have him look at them and got the same verification answer Henry did for free-he (henry)was a little peeved 
i am just glad we didn't have to waste money to have him look at something that we knew what was what-but since our friend passed away-Galen's reference books and a little research are all that we need-

I can feel for everyone that has had to wait, or didnt get what they wanted or thought they would. But the words in bold print GALEN SUX really makes me feel bad inside for some reason. Maybe the bold print, or all the horror stories but some how it doesnt seem fitting to make a post announcement like that.

I'd still read it if the post said

Troubles with Galen or  Has anybody gotten any bad results from?

Just the original post seems so harsh without bothsides in a debate.

My posting was worded that way so maybe the deadbeat would read it some day.He is not a god and should realize that he is pissing people off with his lame business pratices.I wont appologize for being pissed when I cant get an answer from someone i sent my hard earned money to.

wasnt thinking on im sorry levels, and I dont think he will see this post, and I also know you are angry and have that right. So I wasnt judging you, just dont seem to see and hear words so loud that often is all. His only defense is probably Saying ( I'm sorry) but that just never seems to fix all the broken ties he needed to do.

If you look at it this way. Look at all the negative reports people have posted on this thread alone, most being personal experiences. If it keeps happening it's just making things worse. Say it loud and proud and get the word out there to stop innocent people being torn a new ring hole by some plonker who is more worried about image and personal wealth over the job. I feel at the beginning he was out to do good, now he has left the one-on-one side of the hobby and has taken a left turn, down, Myshltdontstink Ave. It seems if it's not a Hemi or 1 of ## cars it can wait....sometimes for up two 3+ years. He should get his act together and treat all jobs equally or not run a business if he can't do so in a professional manner.

Join the crowd, just another dissatisified customer. The only people he cares about are the high roller types..us peons of the Mopar world are SOL with him, he'll just take your donation and if you are lucky, in a few years you'll get some poorly executed POS paperwork from him.
