     :dupe: Man,after reading this post i have a different veiw of g.g. i always thought he was "the man" for all your documentation needs.it seems to me if it done by him then it ain't worth crap the way our hobby portrays him.now i have a different oppionion totally.  :cheers: thanks for the info.  :thumbsup: ...dave....

    My buddy who has restored several of my vehicles knows him, same impression as everyone else here - which is to say, very non-impressed. Govier is also not the expert that a lot of people think that he is.

    its all about the $$$$$$. i had considered having him do a visual on my car so i called for a price. i was told i would have to pay part of his air fair to englishtown and the amount would depend on how many inspections he was doing. i said even if he does none he will be there anyway so why should i pay. i was told thats the way it is. he is a greedy, money hungry, good for nothin POS looking for a free ride at the expense of hobbyists. the only credit i give him is reuniting build sheets with cars at no charge. lets see how long that lasts until they come up with some kind of processing or handling fee

    If it takes someone else's opinion, authority, or certification to make you feel good about your car then you are in this for all of the wrong reasons...unless you are trying to just use them to get more money for your car...which would mean you are in this for all the wrong reasons too.

     After years of having fun with my beloved E-Bodies since I was a teen, I am sick and tired of all of this "correct" resto bull **** that so many are all hung up on.... and you know what else if you didnt build your car or put some real blood and sweat into it, but you are all hung up on this crap I dont care how correct it is you aint **** !
