The shaker is coming from Goodmark for the cuda's by years end. They bought an NOS hood and sent it over seas to be duplicated.

Shakerhood.com (Ben Snobar) are already doing the Shaker Hoods (complete). Will be at Carlisle this year showing them off and not long after that, available for public sales. They're suppose to be very, very good pieces (copied from a NOS hood) and they've spent mega bucks on this project as, well, everything for the hood kits will be non existent as you can buy a complete hood! But, we've seen and heard even promised things before........

Not sure, I believe so after they've completed their complete Cuda shaker hoods.
They're suppose to be real nice. Lots of time and money are going into the design and production.

Call shakerhood (Ben) on the 9th July to enquire about them. He said he'd know more about them at that point and he could give a closer completion date. Sale price is expected to be around $850 USD!! How awesome is that!

that would be realy cool if it is less than the 850.00 considering the challenger rally hood has
more tooling and is 599.00 retail.

That seems WAY cheap considering what they are bringing now . Guess we will see. Even though I want one for the Challenger I would hate to see my Cuda hood take a hit like that . :violin:

 You obviously have no idea what shaker hoods cost. Challenger rallye hoods are a dime a dozen. These are complete shaker hoods for 'Cudas based off NOS/OEM hoods. For an example of just how good the price is, Harms sells the 3 piece brace set for $750 USD!!!! That's minus a hood and the labour/time to install it, so, as I said, $850 is DANG good. This will allow so many people the opportunity to do a shakerhood conversion without having to look for a good hood core. That also means the doors will be wide open for 72-74 'Cuda owners, awesome I say. This is what Ben said, he's "aiming" for $850, but, who knows, it maybe more, he did mention it could be as high as $1,300+, even then, if they're good, I'll be down on the waiting list.......

Pete - I'll see, I had wind of an OEM hood but they seller pulled out on me as he said he had a seller for his car and the hood was part of the deal, fair enough. I'll see what they look like in the photos but rumor has it, it's going to be a very good piece. Ben from shakerhood has invested $350K into making these hoods, so he says.

Yupe, me too (if they're what they're cracked up to be).  It was really only a matter of time before someone or some manufacturer pucked up the courage and dropped the cash to make these hoods. They make everything else for these cars so why not a popular item such as a shaker hood, complete none-the-less.
