EGR Valve
« on: March 25, 2007 - 08:12:40 AM »
Hi   Getting ready to fire her up and need a new EGR valve.    Parts store versions are signficantly different, but I assume would work.   Can't seem to find an original and the number of different pOE art numbers for these on Lighteningjar.com is mind-boggling.   Are these very different from year-to-year?    I see an OE on Ebay for a '75 Monico w/ a 360 -- does anyone know if this would fit my '74 360?

Thanks

You need an EGR valve or you want one?  I am sure you can use the one from the 360 2bbl car, or just find a truck motor and use the egr bloack off plate. These used to be available new(I removed lots of EGR's), but I don't think they are available now.

JS:   Yes, I am looking to replace mine -- which is in tough shape.   I have a 360 4 bbl and would like to find an OEM if possible.    By the way, my wife was walking by and commented how she loved your Challenger (her color is purple!)     Hmmm    :clueless:  I wonder if that is some sort of permission for me to explore......  :jumping:  :clapping:
