Electrical Nightmare

I bought this car from a electrician. Can you tell look at all the wire nuts. Anyways I rewired it so my volt meter was not wired directly to the battery.  :nono: Added in a few Autometer gauges. Went to a 1 wire alternator. Still a work in process..

Yeah, electricians use those kind of connectors(as in the circles in the pic) but in buildings NOT cars.
That guy should be ashame of himself. :nono:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I'm ashamed to say that I've used those a couple of times. :misbehaving:  Usually for the radio though, so it could be swapped back in when I sold the car.  Not that that is a valid excuse.  More like "that's what I had."

I would have yanked that nest and start from scratch!  Well I would have used a factory harness, took the easy way out!
