I used the painless fuse block and ran all the wires seperately. I also used the painess 8 switch kit to power my accessories like the fuel pump, twin electric fans , electric water pump, and MSD delay box. I rebuilt the steering column and had that and the pedals power coated along with the dash frame. I added a rear kill switch and put two batteries in the trunk on a A/B switch.

Not properly used they could easily start a fire both at home and in our cars due to bad connection.
We are replacing them with other "connectors" here in Sweden.

I posted some on the newbie site. More to come. Nice ride I also have a blown 440 with a BDS blower. Not as nice as your but I've only owned the car for a few months. Plus I have two other cars to share my time with. Been working on my wifes mustang most of the time. I had to put on power steering and power disc brakes on it to make her happy. Still working on the brakes. Got the wheels done I just need to install the booster, master cylinder and brake pedal now.

Where did you get your 3 inch exhaust or was it a custom job?

Don

Here is one pic under my hood before I started making modifications.

WOW - Great job on the rewiring. When I first opened this thread and saw that first picture, I hate to say it, but all I could do was laugh.

Thanks for the nice comments about my wiring job. It was fun and a bunch of work. The volt meter guage was wired directly to the battery and the electric fan was something else. He had the sensor in the radiator, but no wires hooked up to it. I almost over heated the car once because I forgot to turn on the switch for the electric fan. Then to make matters worse he didn't have a temp guage just and idiot light. I now have a temp guage and an electronic fan speed controller. The controller is automatic plus an optional manual overide to engage both fans at full speed. I went with a BeCool setup with twin electric fans. Man to they pulled some power.

Is your 3 inch exhaust custom? Is your car tubbed at all? I would like to put 3 inch on mine, but since its tubbed I'm not sure if the stock pipes will work over the axle. Thinking I might need custom made pipes??
