Looks like this one needs possible Qtr's, probably outer wheel houses, and trunk floor Ext's. Definately the trunk floor. Around the back window looks a little scary. A donar section would be nice, but it could be fabricated. Needs a rear valance.

If we can get some of the major venders to contribute with steel and parts for the interior we would have the basics only set.

Are we still planning to do a finished driver? I don't think there is enough time to give Don a finished car by Carlisle this year. However the body could be close to done and present it to Don as an unfinished car and a finished future date for his driving pleasure.

I think the purchase price suits the condition of this car.

I think everyone needs to understand there is a long hard road to completion.

My shop is still open for use on this project. Located in NW Ohio.

depending on when I get my new valance, you guys can have my old one.....I'm looking to get a new one with exhaust cut-outs.  Mine doesn't have them, but it's in great shape.  Once we get this car, we should start a thread of the things members can (or are willing to) donate.  I've got a dash core with a new cap and hopfully a rear valance!!

The extentions and outer wheel openings was just surface rust. Just the corners at the back window was rust through. This is an Alabama car and always local from where purchased. No salt on the roads. The center of the trunk has holes. There is no rust on the rear valance so to speeak, just a dent, but 150 bucks put a valance of your choice type on there. We have extra funds for the steel patches in the quarters. Mostly lower rear patches at 60 bucks each.

I dont believe we are planning on a rotissery resto for any car, just make a good solid platform. There is no frame problems  a small driver floor pan patch and front cap issues.  Lower quarter patches. A good body man will have this car in primer in 2 weeks or less IMOP.
Hard to find a #'s matching, running barracuda for anything less then this price, and the price was reduced over 1300 bucks just for this sight.
You know of a better car? Show us. We are all open to anything.

I haven't been in the best of shape here with funding issues, but I have bought a few spare parts over the years, some decent, some rough but better than nothin,I think this is all great & would like to help the little I can, so when the parts list goes up I will try & come up with a few parts for it. Rich.

Seems like the best thing to come along so far. It's getting late, and nothing else even remotely this good for the price has surfaced. I paid more for mine, and it's in worse shape.

I'd say it should be a go with 38-1 in the voting scale.  The majority of the major contributors have left positive comments, so it should be good to go. :2thumbs:  Have there been sufficient votes to make a plan of action Laura? :dunno:
