BADFISH, I think he's got the larait.  Its not a Harley or King Ranch.  Those seats in yours look WAY more comfy than his.

Yeah the Harley and King Ranch are costly packages but well worth it IMO....I still think the seats are a little more firm then chevy/dodge but they truck interior overall makes up for it.

Thanks Mopar_guy.

In a 1500, the biggest you can get is a 5.7L Hemi (345hp/375tq) unless you get the Viper truck SRT-10

In a 2500/3500 you can get either the 5.7L Hemi (345hp/375tq) or the 6.7L Cummins Diesel (350hp/650tq).

Go to www.dodge.com

Thank you for these informations.
Badfish you have a very nice truck :worshippy  :2thumbs: Who said that Americans have bad car interiors?  :clueless:

WORK TRUCKS--Well i've had both Cummins and Powerstroke. The Cummins was a 4x4 3500 automatic quad cab, great torque and mid range. It was hard on ball joints got around 16 to 18 mpg drive around and 19 to 20 hwy. Drove it 152000 then sold it, guy made me an offer i couldnt refuse and i was fixing to have to put another ball joint in it. The Powerstroke i've still got. Its the older F350 7.3, 5 spd, bullet proof i think. The new 6.0 has nothing for it. I've got 219000 on it, get around 18 to 20 mpg loaded, empty, city or Highway. Its got decent torque good mid range and never ending top end. I just recently had to put a clutch in it and a new turbo. Also along the way i've put three water pumps on it but other than that its just been routine service. Its a good truck and i have no intentions of selling it. Cant handle a $500 truck bill every month.

PLAY TRUCK--Nothing tops a well tuned Lil Red. A Shelby Dakota is fairly quick. Had a Dakota, it was alot of fun. Will always have the Lil Red (lord willing). That Lil Red likes to calm the storm of a cyclone or hurricane or explosion or whatever those new trucks are called. Got up beside a 5.7 short bed (Hemi--not really) the other day with 20 inch tires and he was quick (he was hooking up and i was not) but that Lil Red Truck will make em sweat. Its going to do some growing this next winter. Wont be Lil no more, going to slide a Lil 383 in her. I suspect i'll have serious traction problems then. MOPOWER.

Love my Dodge! Although the Chevy I had before this one was a great truck and I put almost 200k on it I still like the Dodge better. I have 150k on it know and it doesn't use a drop of oil and has not given me any trouble at all. I did get the trans rebuilt under warrenty but that was in 2001 and it's been great since.

93 245000 on the clock, still running strong and love it.  Front end problems are the only issue as mentioned before.  Long story short "I'd rather be Cummin than a Strokin" any day!

To be honest, as far as toughness goes the new Toyota Tundra has some serious suspension/frame work under neath it.  I was really impressed with the 5.7L motor they have with 401 pounds of torque and something like 385hp?  I was going to go look at one at the dealer but never got around to it.  Not to mention I found out they are made in Texas

Made in Texas and all the profits go back to Japan, as patriotic as you American are why are the imports winning the war and putting american companies and people in the poor house, and you can't tell me domestic products aren't any good. Here is a little quote from TR4Petty over on Dodgetalk;    As far as buying a Toyota next time, bite your tongue! Those arrogant Japanese auto makers have been protecting their own turf while invading the U.S. (often by dumping) for decades. They've never known the meaning of "fair" trade. The communist Chinese have treated the U.S. with more fairness than the Japanese have. Just look at the number of U.S. automakers building and selling cars in China. Compare that to the number in Japan. The score? China = 3, Japan = 0. Japan has always used some phony type of barriers to keep the competition from doing business in their country while manipulating the yen, among other tricks, to dump their products in the U.S. I'd rather walk than help them in their schemes to take over the auto market in the U.S.

I refuse to by anything but made in the usa and as already said Money that I spend on the vehicle stays in the USA. The only reason they are building some of the foriegn cars/trucks here is to pull the fleece over some peoples eyes.
