The bad thing is that the pollen count (around 6,000) is not even close to what might get to (over 10,000).

The vast majority of that pollen comes from trees. Think yellow-green powder coating that forgot it's charge. If you have allergies, you will go throuh H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks this time of the year, depending on the severity. Sinus headaches, etc  :villagers: :villagers: :aarg:  I'm a bit more fortunate in that i only get watery eyes and a runny nose for a three to four week period. Besides the pollen, the Water Oaks drop tons of seed tassles.
When i lived in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta and the pollen count got into the six to ten thousand range, there were literally drifts of this stuff on my (then) B5 70 Challenger :eek7: :eek7: :eek7:
Here in central Alabama the temps hvae been in the 80/60 range for the better part of two weeks with very little rain to wash the pollen out of the air, even setting a new high thursday of 89 (the old record of 86 was recorded in 1895). These days my silver truck has that lovely dusty green glow to it :icon16: It's just that time of year ::)

I am about the same way, plus a couple of sneezes here and there.  That is a good thing since I work mostly outside.

Yes, good old Wisconsin has predictions for snow by Wednesday.  Yesterday we had a ton of rain (flood-like conditions while I walked across campus) and we had a tornado touch down the next town over to the west...This weather is definitely being strange. :screwy:

It's been a slow soaking rain all day  :woohoo:  I knew if i pulled weeds, edged, mowed, blew off all the loose stuff, then watered things, there'd be some rain for sure
