Revisited the front end today. The sway bar bushings I installed the 1st time were just a smidge short even though I had measured & ordered what appeared to be the correct size, wuz gonna engineer around it....Well low & behold I was surfing the Advance Auto parts site & they now list a Energy Suspension 7/8" Front Say bar bushing for the challey....The local store could not order would have to order on line & pay shipping so I went to Auto Zone & they got in 2-days p# 5.5113G   for  $13.99+tax....no shipping....I HATE paying shipping (there is also a 15/16" set listed)  Anyways put them on today & was impressed that they even had indention's on the bottom to hold the OE bracket correctly.

Looks like your moving forward. Is that a small block lurking under the hood? :jumping:

Just curious as I have a set ready to go.whhich way did you position the UCA bushings? I have seen the directions that come with the Moog parts for max caster along with other options. :clueless:

  Wade...........glad to see some movement on the car.  Do you have a time table in mind for the completion.?   Looking good and it looks like you pay attention to detail.    :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:   David

Yep that's the original 50K mile 340.    As for the UCA bushings the rear was rotated max inboard with the front rotated max outboard to gain max postive caster, this pulls the upper ball joint as far back as it will go.   I guess you read my post of 5/22/07....will have to put it in a front end machine to see how well the MADMAN camber gauge worked.  :icon16:

Well when I started this in the fall of '05 the goal was hav it finished by the summer of '07................. Life gets in the way and I'm a victim of the domino effect, the day I decided to fix the brakes turned into 3+ months of taking the entire front suspension out, I figure do it once, hopefully & save time in the long run, then the heat of last summer was unbearable yada yada and here we are with not much progress in 10 months.   If its drivable this year I'd be thrilled.

Bullitt, redid your wheels for you.  They are a bit better anyways.  Not quite as dark, I could make the spokes darker?   :dunno:  Use it how you want.

That suspension is beautiful thus far.

Edit:  Looks like Mustang wheels, I could take that off, too.

Glad to see it moving along.  I remember your post on the how-to speaker in the kick panels a long time ago.

Ya know I've thought that a bright red, the color on the "four barrel" hood call outs, would make a good accent color but I've pretty much decided to stay silver w/black or possibly a darker silver stripe to accent.

What if the top strip was short next to the door gap with each stripe a little longer as you go down. :thinkerg: :clueless:
