RTSE Interior Pics.
« on: March 28, 2007 - 05:46:39 PM »
Here are a few recent photos of my car's interior and one of my new NOS locking gas cap. I've on the hunt for it for 2 years.

Very nice, does anyone make the carpet and light that goes on the bottom of the door panels?

I don't think so. Those are original to the car as is most of the interior.

I love the overhead console.  My car is an R/T with the SE trim, from the factory, though it is not an SE.  I found an overhead console in a junk yard, had it recovered and bought a new dome light for it. Then a fabbed up a front mount so I could use it in my car.  I ran a wire from the light delay for the key light in the steering column for the fasten seat belts light, and just hooked up the door ajar light to the dome.  I still would like to get a low fuel relay, but I have a ways to go before I need to worry about that!

Thanks for the pics.  I have 4 of those caps and did not know what they fit.  They are NOS with the keys.  The problem with them is the keys that are in them don't work.  They are in the factory boxes with the wrong keys from Chrysler.   :pullinghair:  Back to your post.  Nice interior and nice car.   :2thumbs:

Since I have 5 Ebodys they all have a home.  I just did not know if they were for E or B's.  Maybe they fit both.

I bet that gas cap ate up 1/2 of the restoration costs.

Great work mate, I like checking out other peoples pickiness, I have OCD. First things I look at in interior (after the main items of course, seats, dash etc) are the rallye cluster panel gaps and lining up, some have gaps, thick at the bottom thin at the top or vice versa and some are uneven at the bottom like the switch panel piece is further down than the cluster piece. Also the dash lower molding to dash cap piece. Both of yours are spot on.

Very nice.
