Like anything else, it's all about the execution. If you've got the right color combination and options/accessories it could look great. :dunno:

My Challenger is going to end up with an Air Grabber hood, just so you know it's not the purist in me talking.

Just feeingaround to see the reaction. I used the AAR because the angle of the shot was right. I didnt have to do much to make the hood apear like it fit. I don't know if I llike it or not. I would have to see it in person. But from the sounds of it I don't think i'd have much of a chance of getting my car on car of the month if i did it!!! LOL Just messing around with a few photos. I used to be photo editing professionally. I haven't touched Photoshop in about a year. Funny how the short keys come right back to you after doing it for about 7 years...

I think they are ok if the scoop height was bigger. We have a cowl hood on our Duster drag car.

A generic cowl hood scoop wouldn't look too bad if done right, so long as it doesn't look like one right off a '69 Z28 or something similar that is recognizable as a Chevy cowl scoop.

I was gonna get that AMC hood for my Javelin, but have since decided to use the Cuda bulge hood.

I think that this is probably the only Cuda that looks okay with the cowl hood.........

I don't think the cowl styles look bad, so long as you get one that is flat on top without the crease down the middle. The crease is a signature chevy body line. If  you look at a Challenger R/T hood or a 70 Road Runner hood, they both had a slight rise down the middle that could have grown into a cowl hood, but they are both flat on top.

:nono:  looks stupid! looks like someone building a cuda could not afford a cuda hood! everyone has different tastes in style,to me that tastes like poo!

Tell us how you really feel....   :poopoke:   :poopoke:   :smilielol:  :smilielol:  :roflsmiley:

It's all good.......whatever gets you going, if you think it looks good, and it's going in the direction you are taking the car, then do it.  I bought my 'Cuda with the intent on putting "whatever" I wanted into it and not looking to keep it original.  Some of my neighbors have complained that I put a tach in the wrong place or put a new age stereo instead of my old one, but hey, I'm driving it not them....I should be the one enjoying it.  :2thumbs:

Cowl hood just doesn't look right on a Mopar. IMO, the e-body bulge hood and the AAR hood are the best looking hoods on the planet.

Ive seen em on e-bodies, they already look like camaros too much as is!  The right style looks ok, but if I had a cuda it would have an aar hood, coolest hood from the factory ever!
