swap meet 2
« on: October 19, 2003 - 12:53:55 PM »
O.K. just came back from the Fall Fling in Van Nuys.
The swap meet was bigger and better then ever!!!
The prices were too.
Saw a restored '70 'CUDA grill for $1995.00
Saw three bent fenders for $1500.00 (one had gills)
Nobody had project cars for sale, a new first.
Some deals could be had
I saw a guy buy a '71 'CUDA grill complete for $400.00 and A decent looking "69 Charger with no rust and orig paint for $2000.00 bolth in the opening moments of the show.
I spent way too much money too but got some ok deals
'73 'CUDA tail panel and frount shear panels for $125
3 tail lights for $10 each with clips
lower frount valance for $35 with no cracks
And a near comeplete 1970 Barracuda Grande Coupe
grill for $650. Can you say AAR clone?
With all these parts I can complete 2 car chassis I already have and change my orange tail lights to red.
pics to come.........

The reason no projects were there is these cars are
worth more dead then alive. Check this guy out
