Hopefully someone fixes this car up as it's definitely a rare ride with a factory sunroof.

That is a rare car!  Looks like a whole lotta work though.

Cool home made flames!

Seems to me that '72 was the most popular year for sunroof cars.  Like the factory was trying make up for the convertable cancellation in 1971

Cool car.  Not too far from me either.    As far as I am aware 1972 is the only year ebodies had sunroof's.  I have wanted a 72 cuda sunroof for some time but they are quite hard to find.  This one is the right price and doesn't seem to have too much rust.  Perhaps I will go and look at the car in the upcoming weeks of spring.  thanks for listing it.

I heard some '71s had them but very few compared to '72.

No problem Cuda'Hunter.  Hopefully you could strike a deal for it.  As for '72 SR's, I've only seen a handful throughout the web (none in person), but I've seen quite a few '71's at the various national MoPar shows.  It's weird the facts show more '72 SR's than the previous years.

I wonder if some '72 sunroofs ended up on some '71 cars?  :clueless:

I can honestly say that the only ebody that I have ever seen with a sun roof is a 72.  I have seen about half a dozen in various conditions.   I have seen several on darts and dusters but only on 72 cuda's.  i have seen 2 challengers of the same year.  I would love to see pics of a 71 with a sunroof.  Please post if you have one.  thanks

Cool.  Anybody got pics of a Cuda in a year other than a 72?

I personally like the sunroof.  Of course I havn't had one dripping on me every time it rains either. It's a cool option.

I did a google search and found this.  I couldn't open that particular page in the book but here is the google info:

 "Challenger & Barracuda Restoration Guide, 1967-1974 - Google Books Resultby Paul A. Herd - 1997 - 272 pages

In 1971, the Barracuda molding was restyled and part number ... Power Sunroof: Code M51 This is one of the rarest of options installed on the 1970-1972 ..."

CAn't find any '70-'71  Barracudas with a sunroof. How about a '71 'Cuda with a Cordoba T-roof?

A Cordoba T'roof?  Is that what I am looking at? I don't believe it.  Do you know what the option number is on that?  I would love to see better pictures of that.  Learn something new everyday.  Thanks for the pics.  I called the number and havn't gotten in touch with anyone yet.
