Didn't realize that Keisler made this kit.........
« on: April 01, 2007 - 05:01:13 PM »
I did not realize that this kit was out there in the world. Keisler takes a GM 4L60-E late model with a factory removable bellhousing and puts a Chrysler bellhousing on it. Seems like alot more trouble than putting a 518 in and the 4L60-E is not as strong as a 518. :dunno: Anybody seen one installed? Full install article in June '07 Mopar Action Magazine.

They had opne explode on the Power Tour last year. There are different torque capacities, the price is fairly high, and its only software that controls the trans shifting. They've been advertising it for about 8 months now. I know for the most part, the few buyers are happy. I dont personaly know anyone, just what I read. I dont know how well it fits, but the concept is pretty cool.  I'm not enough of a fan of OD to spend that much coin on a GM part tho.

I saw the info at the SEMA show in Vegas last Nov. Don't think I'd want a GM trans in my mopar....

Think if I were going to spend that much I would just convert my car to a 5 sp or 6 sp manual.
