Wht size tires for new Magnums?
« on: April 02, 2007 - 09:16:30 AM »
Bought a set of Magnums for my Challenger and need to decide on tires. Right now I have a set of aftermarket 15x7's with 255-60 on back and 235-60 up front. The Magnums will be 15x8 in back and 15x7 up front. Was thinking about going 275 and 245...will 245's clear up front or should I stick with 235? Will 275's fit in rear with 4.5" back spacing?

A 245 is on 10mm wider than a 235, so you are adding an extra 1/4" of rubber per side. I don't see why that would be a problem.

I seem to recall reading onanother site where some one had put 255 on the front of their car without any problems, but backspacing selection was of primo importance.
