Trim rings Brushed or polished?
« on: April 02, 2007 - 11:48:17 AM »
I have searched on here and did not find the answer I was looking for (perhaps I did not look hard enough, forgive me if this question has been answered), I am curious as to the application of the 15 x 7 trim rings brushed and polished. I am restoring a 70 440 6 pack cuda clone, and am getting ready to order my trim rings and center caps since my wheels and tires came in. Any thoughts on the correct application of each style, and correct for my application?

I thought all 15" trim rings were polished, as 14" were brushed.   :dunno:

Wowsa,

You learn something new everyday. On 70's, the 15" rings were polished. On 71-74's they were brushed.
