The transmission works real well.  I actually am so pleased with it that I'm considering installing another one in the next car that I'm working on.  Overdrive is the way to go.

Regarding the Missouri cc.com get together.....How about the Show Me Mopars show in Columbia?  I believe it's in June, like the 17th of something.  Sooner than that is the Magic Dragon Car Show (big show - 900 + cars) at the Lake of the Ozarks the first weekend in May.

Nice car and nice write up on the tranny install!

Either show will work for me. Tom who has the show in June has a BBQ at his house the night before the show. I have been invited for years but never made it. If you want we could meet there or at the show. His show is a good time but I never put a car thru the judgeing. I would have no chance in placing as their are cars that come in that are 95 to 99 point cars. Mine is a driver and I just enjoy taking it to shows and shooting the bull. The Lake show is huge and usually three days long. The show in June is the 17th, my birthday and father's day. My present from the wife and kids is going to the show and spending money on swapmeet.

Oldman - Lets plan on meeting up at the show.  Tom is about to debut his new Hemi road runner.  He told me he bought the Hemi from JD machine that was in the Mopar Muscle Magazine.  I tried to get him to put a 5 speed behind it but he will NOT even think of cutting the shifter hole.  He's a great guy.  Are you a member of the Show-Me Mopars?  Either way, I'll see you around town!

I was over at Tom's last week and I didn't know he bought the motor from Jeff, he didn't say anything about it. I thought that the motor was going in Don's new Challenger. Look forward to meeting you at show. There is a cruise in this Sunday at 63 Diner in Columbia. We will have the Charger and the Challenger there. Also don't forget the cruise at Bass Pro here in town on the 21st. Hope to see ya there.
