which hose is the incoming to the coupe?
« on: April 05, 2007 - 12:58:21 AM »
Hello,

First of all I wanna thank you all for a great forum, I haven't  posted that much but I visit quite often.

So the season for all american car lovers is comming up here in Finland.

I bought my Chally -70 last summer and noticed that full heat is on all the time in the coupe, nothing to regulate the heat with, I have bought a heatvalve and inted to installl it now, but I should ofcourse install it on the incoming heat water hose. but which one of the two hoses is the incoming.

Thank you.

Looks like your car is factory a/c car. The heater valve actually goes on both lines and sits on the inner fender where you regulator is. You could put a valve on the line from the water pump I think or if you don't need heat just loop the two hoses together

Thanks,

Yes it oughta be a A/C car from the factory. I will go get the car from the winter storage to my garage and then I can investigate and see whaat to do.

An other question, I broke the drivers side outside door handle, what is this made of, siliminium?
Can you weld it?

I would just replace the door handle.  You can get a reproduction one specifically for your Challenger from Mega Parts, or a Cuda one from any Direct Connection dealer.
