Loco,
That is a real shame what happened to your Cuda.  I would try to find out who the moving company was and go down there and look for any damage on their trucks.  You could look at their trucks and see if there is any orange paint on one of their trucks or any lights broken out in the rear.   Their rear bumper maybe damaged too.  Whoever did that knew they did it and are scumbags.  I wish you luck on getting it fixed.  To bad you didn't have a video camera and could have caught them in action.

Don`t you have insurance on it?   :22yikes:  Classic car insurance is cheap and it could have been a lot worse or even stolen.Insurance is worth the $200-300 bucks a year.As far as the fender goes yes a good body man should be able to pull it out fairly straight, just make sure the shop has someone who has experience straightening metal the old fashioned way.

I work with moving companies all the time. There is a very good chance the driver had no idea he hit you if the truck was decent sized. I would try to find them, and have them look at the car. That's no traffic scrub. The damage really doesnt look that bad. A good guy with a Uni-Spot should have little trouble fixing it. But it's not a $50 dent either. My question is this. It looks like there is no engine in the car. Why was it left for any reason on the side of a road? You need to make a space for it in a safer location. Around where I loved and where several of my shops were, that car would have been parted out very rough and quickly if it was left there for longer than a couple days.

I've seen a good body guy bring back metal that looked like an accordian, so yours should be fixable. If you have insurance, it should be covered under the comprehensive because it was in no way your fault.

Report it to the police, and make mention of the moving company. Talk to some of your neighbors and see if they know noticed what moving company it was, and if anyone saw anything. Most people won't come forward, but they will tell you if you ask.

I feel your pain, I banged my own chally into a post at a body shop 2 years ago, they are now finally fixing it as they restore it.

BUT- why would you park on the street?
And if the ins co finds that out, bye bye payoff.

It is in the street due to I have the motor out of it right now.  My garage is to short to take the motor out in and my driveway is on a slant not a good place to take a motor out so I took it out on the street and left it there until the motor got back.

It doesn't seem to matter on my street... My '85 Daytona was hit out front but my Truck was hit in my driveway.  (stupid idiots doing u-turns) because the lady across the street runs a daycare.

I didn't sign up for that when I moved in

I know how you feel kind of.   :pullinghair:   I had to go to the Dr this morning and when I came out to the parking lot someone had hit my pickup in the front bumper. It dented it in as well as scraped the paint. :nono: I don't know why people wouldn't leave their info. I guess some people today just don't have any sense of being polite.  :violin:
