This is one of the Broadcast sheets from my car.  How/can it be fixed?

With patience, a lot of it. The first step is to press the parts flat, a large heavy book is good for this.

The one pictured below took me close to two hours to re-assemble.

:iagree:  When I found what the mice left of one of mine, I put all the pieces in a big heavy book, maybe an old Motors manual or Chiltons that was like 4" thick.

After pressing for a few days, I took all the pieces and mirrored the better buildsheet and put the pieces of the bad one on a piece of white paper, 8.5x11, then put it in a clear plastic holder.

Thanks guys, how do you get it to stay together.  I thought if I tried to flatten it it would crumble even more.

That's what I thought also but I guess since my car had all that moisture from the water sitting in the floor pans  ::) the buildsheet didn't crumble as I thought that it might.

After I got it flattened out, I taped it on a piece of white paper in the appropriate spots where it should be placed to make the buildsheet, comparing it to the good one.  You can use a glue stick too.

Sweet Superblue.

My wife just showed me a puzzle to picture kit that looks interesting.  It makes the puzzle hard and stay together with some sort of glue.

I use small pieces of double sided tape to keep the pieces from moving. If you use ANY kind of tape, be sure to use it on the back side only. The glue from the tape will yellow over time. I am not a fan of laminating, but sheets in this condition just about have to be laminated to same them permanently.

Best of luck!

...you're lucky the pieces are that big.....several years ago a friend of mine took out the rear seat of his Yelo T/A and his B-Cast sheet was in a pile on the floor....mice had chewed it up for a nest I guess....he carried it in a baggy to show people for a chuckle, but it was in hundreds of pieces

I don't have a T/A.LOL  I just thought it would be cool if I could piece it together.  I do have the other one though.  How should I preserve that one?

Press it flat. Make color copies and place them back in the car. Insert the original into an acid free page protector and store it safely in a cool, dry place.
