I have been in the hobby since the early 80's and bought a 70 Cuda which was only missing the original 340 engine for $350.00 in 1982. It came with the 4-speed and pistol grip shifter still in it along with the 8 3/4 3:55 sure grip rear end, Rallye dash, AM radio, overhead console, roadlamps, rallye hood with hood pins, tinted glass, and was vitinum-c orange with black leather buckets. It also had a complete 440-6 pack set up included with the deal. The bad it had a rusted trunk floor, quarters were rusty, and the back window had leaked and the pan under the back seat was rusted. I used the door panels, rear end, rallye dash, front bumper, grille, 4-speed, rear springs, fenders, doors, and glass on other barracuda cars I owned. I figured it would never be worth anything which is why I parted it out.
I also picked up a 73 Challenger 318 automatic in 1991 for $275.00 to complete the restoration of my 71 Challenger RT as at the time they never made outer wheel house panels which I needed. I ended up needing a section off the front firewall as mine had rusted from something sitting behind the air duct inlet. It was a complete car but didn't run. It had a 70-71 rallye dash in the car and a 8 3/4 rear end with near perfect black interior panels, perfect console, disc brakes, and rallye wheels. It never had much rust but I needed parts so it got parted out. I have kept both cars for all these years and have used parts off them many times. I can't see me selling them as there are still lots of parts on them I may need and I don't have any real money in either car. Just thought everyone would want to see what is left so I took a few pictures.
