For Sale

1970 Plymouth Barracuda (Grand Coupe)

Runs Great / Very FAST!

Has 383 motor with many performance upgrades, not matching numbers

Brand new rebuilt 727 transmission with shift kit and stall converter.

Has posi rear end with 3.91 sure grip

Mechanically this car is great, it just needs minor cosmetic work

It does have a 1972 grill on it, but it is in great condition

Many new parts, such as headliner, alternator, wiring, spark plugs, shocks, hooker super comp headers, full exhaust system, chrome tips Etc..

I have about $27k invested in this car. I have receipts.

Have original build sheet

I’m asking $22,000 obo

Sounds reasonable. I don't think you'll have much trouble finding a buyer.

Thanks.   That charger is also for sale.  Its all original 383.  Its really nice.  Its my dads.  I think he asking 27k obo.

I know I'd take it if I had the funds or space. I'd have to put a 70 grille back on it though. It doesn't seem right. Can't believe I ever let my numbers matching 71 383 Grand coupe go. Ok Bear...stop kicking yourself....it's over....done with....you have a nice Cuda now. Sorry, I start loosing it when I think of that car.

Grrrrrrrr.... :stomp: I wish I would have money to buy it... It is a nice...lets say 'cuda clone that runs good, sounds great and doesn't need lot of work to be perfect. A great first Mopar for me but I have to wait to finish school and...eh...can't wait...  :walkaway:

It had that grill when i bought it. I never got around to switchin it back. But that grill on it now is in mint condition. So if you wanted you could sell that grill and get a 1970 grill.

I think the biggest things keeping that car from being snatched up are the hood and the grille. Even if the grille were swapped with a 70 of lesser quality it would probably be more appealing to buyers.

Honestly, the car is a good deal. A hood and grill and off to the races. Too bad it wasn't available when I was looking. No way you can build a car like that for that $$$
