I believe black was correct for E bodys in 70-71 while some Chargers had cad in 71

 :iagree: I found out mine is wrong and will be have to redo it.  :eek7:

I was going to send mine to Totally Auto but their turn-around time was 4-5 weeks , I was in a hurry so I called Booster Dewey and he did mine in a week and a half!!! Great job too!

I misread this when I quoted. What I meant is I think 30below has it right, it depended on the two venders. Mine is a bendex and should be black.

If you look at my orginal picture it looks like bendix would use cad covers then paint the whole thing black.

Booster Dewey did a great job. If I was to get one plated I would send mine there.

I did see that there are remanufactured ones out online.
Are they way off on looks and /or size compared to OEM?

So the master cylinder should be natural or black? on a '70 with power disk that is.

For 1970, the booster, master cylinder, bail, lid and valve were painted black as an assembly.

I'll be sending this out to Dewey soon. Just picked it up last week. It came off a 70 Hemi Cuda originally.
