Got my 340 air cleaner tin
« on: April 11, 2007 - 09:13:18 PM »
Got my 340 air cleaner tin. What do you guys think? I tried to buy one of those crinkle black air filter covers but they are no longer making them. If you find them on e-bay they are super expensive and not worth the 200 dollar asking price. Any ways I don't think this looks bad.

New Pie Pan looks nice.......saw that Glendora thru Mopar Performance still lists the MP black air cleaner box, if this is what your referring too.  The correct '70 piece has never been reproduced that I know of & bring $200++++ depending on condition. But I like the one I have. An OE from a '68 Runner.

I like your pie tin to. I'll check out that site. There are others that list it as well but don't have it in stock.  Thanks

It looks like Glendora links to Mopar.com eventually. I had tried that earlier with no success. Oh well what can you do?
Thanks for the link though. Always appreciate the help I get here . I wish I can go to Carlise but it looks like it is going to be difficult for me to go this year. They probably have one of those there in one of the vendor booths.

If you go the black wrinkled route please post a pic. I haven't seen how the spray can stuff looks.
