Clutch Master Pic request
« on: April 15, 2007 - 11:35:53 AM »
I'm curious to see if anyone has the hydraulic clutch kit from Keisler and if you have pics of how the clutch master attaches to the firewall.
Thanks
Jason

I know a guy that put one on last year. He said that you have to cut off some of your front bearing retainer sleeve. It's so much cheaper to stay with the tried and tested Z-bar and linkage.  If you want a hydraulic clutch, just adapt a slave cylinder to the ouside of your bellhousing and leave the stock fork and throwout bearing down below.

Here's a kit on ebay:

Very pricey.  $370.

I think that I saw a how-to using junk yard parts on Moparts.com somewhere.

I have the Keisler 5 speed with thier hydraulic setup. I am doing some fab work in the engine bay and i'm curious where it comes out.

Sorry Jason, My comment was about adding just the hydraulic throwout setup to a standard 833 tranny.  I didn't notice that you had the entire Kiesler setup. I didn't take a look at his firewall to see the mount for the master cylinder, so I can't help you there.
